Community Spotlight: Arbor Terrace Residents Take Flight

Jun 15, 2016 8:30:00 AM / Chris Harper Chris Harper

Here at The Arbor Company, we are excited by the active and fulfilling lives of our residents. Recently, a handful of veteran seniors from Arbor Terrace at Kingwood Town Center in Kingwood and Arbor Terrace Cinco Ranch in Katy had the chance to relive their flying days thanks to the non profit organization, Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation.

Four residents from Arbor Terrace at Kingwood Town Center as well as four residents from Arbor Terrace Cinco Ranch felt on top of the world after their flights.

“I was really looking forward to this,” Arbor Terrace at Kingwood Town Center resident, Delmer Jones, who flew Stearman planes when he was younger, said. “I used to fly my plane to school, park it on the field, go to my classes and then come back and fly off; I had 500 hours of flying when I was in the service.”

We are so thankful to Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation for giving our residents the opportunity to get back in the cockpit.
